Thats sounds like a plan!!! I'd jump on that in a heart beat. :)) Now, I just have to find a room with an extra bed to lie my head down on for a few days while in Daytona.......

Alan, as noted in Debbs (kustom lincoln lady) post above give Kevin Dudley a call. He's located in Ga. and I have met him personally and he's got all his ducks in a row.

I have talk to numerous people who have used his services before and nothing but praises for his transport company.

Good luck,
Dave

I use a company out of South Carolina called Yearound that also transport professionally for Meccum, Kruise and other auctioneers.

I have never had a problem and have used them for Atlanta to INDY several times.

Their number is 1-800-784-7951.

Hi all, am a newbie here and this is my first post. Sorry to say it's not a good news one.
I have a 46 Ford Sedan w/a 400 SBC and a restored 1937 Packard Super 8 that was just too sweet and silky smooth running to cut up and put a BB into.
I also have used Yearone to transport my son's 41 Rat Rod Ford Sedan from Tallahasse up to LI, NY. My Packard was painted down in Mooresville, NC so I called Yearone to have it picked up. I didn't hear from anyone for about a week. I called and spoke first to susan who is usually very helpful. Then I spoke to Jean, the owner's wife. I seems her husband died :( and the trucks are being held up in probate. She told me she was going to try and locate another trucker for me. I'm in no rush so said, ok. Will let you know how it goes.

Why do people park in a driveway, and drive in a parkway?

I would like to throw my welcome in to you. YOu will notice that the SRS hosts the most friendly atmosphere on this side of the moon! That's baby moons!

I am sorry to hear about Jean's husband passing and THEN having problems with the company assets. The son used to always come to pick my stuff up and always on time and very professionally run I thought.

I know a classic showroom dealer (Fraser Dante) real well here in town that uses them almost on a weekly basis and they are always braggin about them as well. I am sure they will get things worked out.

Once again welcome to the fray.

Ok, good news, just spoke to Jean from Year Round trucking and the company is up and running again. The Packard is scheduled to be picked up the Monday after Thanksgiving. Hopefully the pinstriping will be done prior to then.
