custom bicycles...

One of my hobbies is building custom lowrider and classic style bicycles. My most recent bike project is the transformation of a Schwinn stingray into a - what looks like- a 57 chevy belair(I'll have to take that picture posting class 101 =) so I can get some pics posted for you guys). I have a lot to do yet but some friends that saw it said I could get in trouble for using the belair name and 'look' on this bike. I have belair emblems etc. to place on the bike. I might end up selling this bike. If you guys know anything about this trademark stuff let me know - I don't feal like going to jail! Thanks

I don't know about the bike thing but I do know there is a website called 50's Chevy's and the girl who runs it was forced by Chevrolet to remove thier name from the site however she can still use the bowtie as long as it doesn't say Chevrolet. Go figure. Hope this helps Just one instance that know about
