Has anyone upgraded to 8.0?I am still using 6.0 We went to 7.0 when it became available but the connection was much slower so we reverted back to 6.0...Just wondering how you like it?To be honest...not very happy with AOL at all but am not computer literate enough to select a better server....suggestions anyone??Thanks!

Thanks for the tip about aol as I was looking at them as a replacement for SBC Yahoo who took over Prodigy earlier this year hasn't been a real smooth transition to say the least.

I just updated AOL from 5.0 to 8.0 for my wife.
It was a 15 minute dounload & install with a cable connection......Havent had any problems so far.......I do know that it can be a rather lenghty install with a dial-up connection, as my friend told me it took 4 hours for his 8.0 install .

I'm running aol via cable modem also. I like some of the new features on 8.0 and have had no real problems with it. I don't use aol that often, I perfer using AIM or MSN for IMming purposes but must say that AOL has the best E-mail service bar none.

Daryle, I loaded 8.0 as soon as it came out (duh) thought I would have learned that lesson with 5,6 and 7 LOL.
I do like a lot of the features, I have noticed one prob that I have never really had before, my computer will bog down when I am doing stuff and then boom I'm out!!!! sometimes it happens 5 times in a row. Get a message that says the host has disconnected, if prob persists restart your computer!!! very annoying, and can only relate it to 8.0, since I never really had a 7.0 prob with that. But I do really like 8.0.

On another subject I have noticed that this morning I have lost my entire list of MSN buddies!!!! Guess I'll try rebooting?
