I’ve put a few new progress pics of the coupe on webshots at:

http://community.webshots.com/user/rphazen

The newest progress shots are in the
“32 Ford 3w coupe progress #5” album.
Also some cruise-in and car show pics from this summer in the “2002 Cruise-In 1“ and “2002 Cruise-In 2” albums.

Great pics. I haven't checked them all out yet, but I have a question. You have so many albums and pictures on Webshots that I'd guess you've paid to upgrade to Webshots Unlimited. I've thought about doing that too but I was wondering if you could post pictures from the upgraded version. That's why you'll either see a red X or a picture above this post. By the way, it's a picture of Eldon Hunt's awesome '32 Roadster's engine. I've got some nice pics of that car too.

Hope you don't care if I explore your other albums. Many look interesting and I'm amazed that you took the time to list who owns the car and where they are from.

Oops, I see that the albums I was looking at were somebody elses that you had in your favorites. But at least I know now that pics still can't be posted from the "pay for" version of Webshots.

I haven't upgraded to the paid webshots account so I'm limited to 10 albums w/24 pics per album. All my pics are scans as I'm not digital yet. Sonny Hunt's '32 Roadster is awesome with all the old Eddie Myer speed stuff.
Saw it at Boardman Chili's cruise but ofcourse NO CAMERA I do that alot.

Here's my Webshots albums. The first 1/2 dozen or so had lousy resolutions but, the latter ones came out pretty well. I have most of my cars and photos of the project Divco in there and also show shots and cars that we featured in the magazine as well as a couple covers of the magazine.

Rod, I apologize for having gone off on a tangent on your post. Now I'll get back to your original post.

I've finally gone thru all your pics and I'm impressed. You've done a lot of good work and it looks like things are well thought out. I see your son is involved a little too. I'm going to keep your album bookmarked for inspiration. I've been having trouble getting motivated lately.

Really impressed! That alternator mount is trick. I am thinking about doing something like that on my small block. Can you tell us more about it?

Steve,
As far as the alternator mount goes, with the big block there is really no room to make the alternator move to adjust belt tension. That’s even w/o pinching the frame rails. The bracket was self made starting with cardboard templates, a lot of measuring and head scratching. So that’s where that hair is going! (sorry....a self realization moment there) I actually made the pulleys, both the idler/tension and the alt. pulley. The alt pulley was made to move the alt. further back and away from the brake fitting. I’m figuring the pulleys will need to be hard anodized to hold up as they are aluminum. A friend has the alt. on a small block in a 32 that has plenty of room. Speedway and Alan Grove have low S.B. mounts that might work though I don’t know about a Model A if that’s what your putting it in.
George,
Motivation is a problem for me that’s for sure. I want results yesterday with tomorrows cash !
