Yes, you will have to load them on a website and them load them to the URL at the bottom of the posting area.....just above the submit button.
If you have it loaded on Ryan's jalopy journal site, you can steal it and post it here or post it there and I'll steal it and post it here.

Cool shot lostandfound. You should add it to the Studio. It's not "vote-on-able" unless it's over there.

Yeah - what Deuce said. Picture posting will be available for our next version go-around, but for now we have to do the "link to another site" business.

germ - if you want to add your rat rod to the Studio, you can do it without having to link to it. You can upload it right from your hard drive.
I stole it from Lost&Found and put it up.

Germie Poo, To load ONE photo on a post or reply here on SRS you must, as everyone stated, have it loaded somewhere else. Then you RIGHT click on the photo itself. At the bottom you will see the word "properties". Click on that. You will then see the URL address. COPY that address in full. Then you can PASTE that address in the "Image URL" box right above the submit button.
Now for some reason I think your pulling our legs here. You are a very intelligent, computer savy, indivdual. But, we're always happy to help folks post photos here. :))
Also available is the ability to post a permanent photo of your rod and MUGSHOT in your profile. To do this simply click on your name, go to the bottom, hit where it says edit profile. You will then beable to load directly from your hard drive. You will be able to include as much info regarding your hot rod as you'd like.
If you need any further help, don't hesitate to ask.

Because it's Webshots and you can't link to pics from there. The reason you saw it is that it was still in your cache on your computer from posting it. You didn't really see it, you just thought you did...LOL.
You can post from your picturetrail album tho.
