Brake Proportioning valve location

I have a 4 wheel disk setup with 2# residual pressure valves front and rear. I want to add a wilwood proportioning valve, but the best location puts it in between the rear brakes and their residual pressure valve. Is it a bad idea to put it there or should I reconfigure the rear lines to put it in between the rear residual pressure valve and the master cylinder? It is a fully adjustable valve, so the 2# of residual pressure should not be a factor.

I have seen manufacturer's diagrams having the proportioning valve in both locations, so I believe it does not matter. Most info I have read, suggests having the RPV near the M/C. ---- Neither the PRV nor Prop valve should have an effect on the operation of the other.
