I saw a show on local cable were this guy was painting flames on his black mail box last night. I've been practicing drawing flames ever since. We're moving into our house the end of February, so I've gotta practice. Does anyone have pictures of their mailbox, or any neat ideas?

Bob

No pics of mine. It's literally 10 inches from my head on the trophy and diecast shelf. I'll see if I cant get a pic of it for ya.

A buddy of mine in Hanover made one out of the butt end of a '57 Belair. No, he didn't cut a real one apart, took 18 gague steel hand formed the back half of the roof the trunk and the fins with lexan lights that are wired and plugged in to a 9V which is ran thru a extension cord underground and to the house electric. First time it was up I was up there visiting and the mailman came, the devil couldn't find the door to open it to save his life. Finally after 5 minutes he realized that the back (what would be towards the front) was where you opened it. Denny had a steel plate that was made up to the outline shape of the whole thing and had a quarter inch steel lip around it like a real box lid/door does and painted the front of the Belair on that making it look as if it hit a brick wall at 200 mile a hour.

Looked real slick, I'll get a pic of mine thats on my shelf and the next time im up that way i'll get a pic of the '57.

Later
