Al, it's going to be a great looking Kustom when they're done. Looking forward to checking it out in Feb..
There is one thing you might want to correct on the page. It's the 50th Anniversary of the Detroit Autorama, http://www.autorama.com/, not the World of Wheels. http://www.worldofwheels.com/ They are 2 different shows, both owned by Championship Auto Shows. The 40th Anniversary of the World of Wheels is Feb 1-3 at the McCormick Place (Chicago).
Will you be coming to Detroit for the Autorama?

Cant wait till the 20-24 inch wheel fade goes away .It would look real cool whith a set of wide whites. LOL Thats cool!!!

We will be putting on 20" wheels w/ a real low profile BF Goodrich....
BTW ... The car sits 46''from the ground to roof with the air bags lowered.

Ed... This car was designed by George Barris and Owned & Built by Jerry Kind of Kinds Auto located in Northern NJ with a little help from his friends( aka ..me ).
It will be a 1941 CHRYSLER BUSINESSMAN COUPE assembled with parts from a 46 Caddy (fenders & quarters)on a 82 Vette frame stretched 2 feet and powered by a Small Block Chevy. Some unique features are Custom Made - Smoked Glass Roof & Rumble Seat, Air Ride and more. My job has been on mechanical end( ex: chassis & drivetrain )I gotta tell ya it been a blast to see what this car first started as and within 6 months and over 4000 hours to be where it is today. At this point the interior is being done by Keith Interiors of Middletown, NY then by Jan 2002 we will go FULL BORE to get it done by Jan 15.
Hey Nitrofc, while I was at the cruzin at Carlisle this august with the Stude, I got a personal invite from one of barris's staff to bring the Stude (finished of course) to the celibration party and car show in Hollis NY next November. Just think, I get to have my back yard built kustom in a show with stuff like that and the Millinum 2000. Hope to see ya there if you go. Dave
