Coil-over spring rate

I recently purchased a set of coil-overs for the front of my car and the spring rate was 400 lbs. I went on and on about how nice the car ran with them(had a blown right front shock). My sons and my wife have decided to get me a pair for the rear for Christmas...COOL! The shocks and coils are the same size as the fronts (coils are 10" x 2.5"), but I was wondering, what spring rate should I get? The car weighs in at 2450 lbs. 200, 300, or 400 pound rated springs?

I think you will be happy with about a 225 rate to start with. We weigh are cars(4 wheel electronic scales) during the building process and put springs in from there .but i think that most of them have left with 200-250's in the rear.

On my '29 roadster, I had 180 lb. springs in the rear (Aldan coilovers), and for that 2200 lb. car, they were just right. On my '32 highboy, I have 220 lb. springs (recommended by Outlaw via Yogi's) so I assume I am in the ballpark.
