Yep, I'll be there with bells on. :) A bunch of us are meeting at the State Street Grill on Friday at noon for lunch. It's on the south side of town across the street from the water. Has nice big windows facing the water and street action. Please come join us.
On Sat and Sun I will be displaying my hand painted womens clothing at an art show in Macinaw City just across the bridge from St Iggie. Between the putt putt golf and Traverse City Woolen Company. Drop your wife off with either the check book or credit card and I'll drop her back off after the art show at your motel!!! LOL :))

Your "top-less" cruzn buddy, Denise
I am planning going up. To think I have lived in Michigan, including the UP for several yaers and have yet to go to the car show in St. Ignace. I even worked three summers ago on the road project at the bridge (remember the mess it was?) And while we were required to get the four lanes open for the show and get out of the way that weekend, I stayed home in Elk Rapids, and didn't make the show. I won't have a vehicle to show but will enjoy seeing all those that do. Perhaps i can meet some of you'all ? That would be great if we could meet and put a face to a name on the boards here. rico_bob
PS: Thanks for posting my rod profile this week!

Sue and I are staying at the Aurora Borealis from Thursday til Sunday. We'll be cruising the streets Thursday afternoon and Friday. Holler if you see the purple truck. A few of us (Denise, Monkster67 & others) are meeting at the State Street Bar for lunch at noon on Friday, you can join us if you want. What car are you taking up, Russ?

you guys can look for the Lincoln there its a 2002 Feature car!!!! I don't think so, lol. We went there once and didn't like it. Not our kind of show. One feature car expierence was enough for us. oh well

I don't put my car in the show. I have before, but you're right...its a hassle, especially if your car is a feature car. You have to get your car down there in the middle of the night. The day of the show I usually take a couple cruises out to the beach west of town or somewhere. There's lots of neat places to go within an hour or so from St Ignace. For me, its just a nice show to go to, partly because of the drive up there and there are LOTS of neat cars and nice car people in town for the weekend cruisin' around.

I think it's 1 of those shows you have to do at least once.Ed brings in alot of famous car people & big name folks who all get recognition & they're all available if you want to meet them.As I covered the event I was privy to alot of inside stuff I may not normally have been, so my opinion is biased, I admit. But, I still think it has such a different flavour to it, it's something you have to do at least once.

I practacily grew up in the U.P. I love to go visit still have tons of family there too. But, it was just the hassel of the 2am park time!!! awful, be here be there and cant get here from there stuff. Prob if we didn't have to do all that it may have been fun. Spent a day on the Island, rob had never been. and did get to meet a lot of people as Liz said. But for us ONCE was enough, lol
