Scored a great deal on a set of Sandersons for my Ford powered deuce on e-bay without collectors. Went to the local speed shop to pick up collectors only to find out that Sanderson collectors are 2 1/4 inches and the common sizes are 2 1/2 ,3 and 3 1/2 inches. Sanderson claims they are 2 1/2 but nothing matches. Building on a budget so $65.00 us plus shipping is alot. Anyone else run into this problem? Roger

Ran into the same problem, second problem was one spark plug on each side was about 1/16 " from the spark plug boot. Burned the wires up on those two in 5 min. Took a hammer to the headers to pound a little more air gap in. Really mad me mad. The fix was a simple one, took them off and threw them in the trash,and got a set from another co. that fit.

dont know to much about sanderson stuff except i like its looks....but can u take some 2" pipe to the muffler shop and have them expand or bell or whatever the ends to match the end of the manifolds?
