Anyone that's going needing info. or help of any kind, email me or call 1-417-830-6651. I'll be there all weekend, rain or shine. Weather forecast looks good for next weekend. Hope to see some of you there. I'll be wearing a "Rods and Relics" red or white polo shirt.

Lance, do you know anything about the cruise at Grizzly Tool on Thursday night? I was thinking of driving up on Thursday to pick up my entry and then go by the cruise on the way back home.

John, Grizzly Tools is putting on an open house on the west side of their store from 6pm to 9pm. I stopped by and talked to the manager today to get the straight story besides what's printed in the 'Streetscene'. Any streetrodder will get a 10% discount on auto related tools. This warehouse and showroom is big. Really big. The store normally closes at 6pm but will stay open for the rodders. Food, soft drinks, and a DJ. They're on the corner of Kansas Expressway and Battlefield Road in southwest Springfield.
Any and every kind of lathe, wood or metal, handtools, welders, blah blah blah.

Don't temp me sweetheart, I've been known to do crazier things.

Off the top of your head, do you know how many miles it is from KC, MO to Springfield and from Springfield to St Louis?

Moparr is right on mileage. I-44 from St. Louis to Springfield.
US 71 south out of KC, highway 7 east to Clinton Mo., highway 13 south to Springfield.
We might have a cold beer or two waiting for you, or anyone else that's thirsty.

Denise, sorry, Had this planned since last year. Never did understand why they have the power tour during a NSRA or Goodguys event on the same weekend and same state.
Something you might bring up to the power tour people for next year. If they have it on a different weekend, they would probably have more cars at the power tour.

As it stands right now i'll be in springfield. But if something comes up and i can't make it i'll look you up at the power tour when it hits KC.

Okay, I am ready to leave but I have to wait a couple more days. I wonder who is going? Bring your umbrella and your smiley disposition cause the weather may not be real good.

Ok guys and gals I will actually have a small display with cyberods at Springfield this weekend (Saturday only). I will be borrowing some booth space from Route 66 Hot Rod Parts. So stop by and check out cyberods and say "HI" so I can put some names with some faces. Sunday I will be back in St. Louis to meet up with Denise.

See ya in Springfield

Don't rush back to St Louis on my account. Weather permitting, I will be heading from KC, MO to St Louis via SPRINGFIELD. I know, I know, it's alittle out of the way! LOL I should arrive in Springfield around 10am, leave around 2pm and that puts me in St Louis around 4-5pm, just in time for eats. :) Maybe we could cruz from Springfield to St Louis together.

That's great you guys, I'm glad I'll get to meet all of you! Yes there will be rain on Friday according to the 'so called' experts, but around here, you never know, ain't that right WZ? I'm sure you won't be disappointed in making the trip Denise, keep my cell# handy I posted earlier though just in case.

No rain so far. Saw the official count at 6pm tonight at 1711. Not bad for a Thursday.

The kick-off party at Grizzly power tools was a hit. A couple hundred cars I suppose. WZ Junk, did you make it there? I pulled in around 7:30pm.
