I foolishly suscribed again, only to receive my issue 2 weeks after it's been on the 7-11 news stand. For Canada they would tack on another 40% - that sucks.

It doesn't sound like you would recommend it.
I will take your word on the late issues,

If that was the first issue of the new subscription, its been my experience that they mail you the current issue even tho its been out for a couple of weeks.

If they continue to be late, that might be why they are cheap. They might be getting issues that didn't sell and have been returned from news stands after the next one comes out. I'm sure they don't just throw the unsold magazines away. Let us know if the next issue is late too.

Nope i payed full price and still get it 1 week after ther news stand.Just wont renew now.Thumb through it at the news stand and buy it if its got anything good or leave it there if its just billet maddness.19 bucks sounds like a good deal though!!

Man, do I agree with that statement. The thing I feel most badly about now is the number of times I bought all that advertising. Where did the features and tech articles go. I think you might get 1 tech article per issue. Hell I've got a couple of the old "TV Guide" sized magazines from the late 50's early 60's with maybe 60 pages and each one of them has 4 or 5 feature cars and 3 or 4 tech articles. But I guess you can't squeeze in some relevant material if you're making a living selling advertising.

recycler (paper shredder) here about 10 days ago ! Stores do not keep em on the racks here for too long!

The way I see it...if you ONLY get half of the issues @ 12 months x 3 years =36...... 36 divided by 2 = 18.......thats a $1 and small change per issue.
