I just got my hand on a really nice pair of seats form an 86 toyota camry. I would like to use them in my 53 Chevy in place of the bench seat. Can anyone give me tips on the proper way to secure these? Should I make some new runners, bolt them to the floor, and then bol the seats on? Should I weld some sort of bracket to the floor first (once I learn how to weld).? Are there adaptor kits of some sort? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
