Anyone mounted a GM alternator high on the right side of a SB Chev? This engine has TPI and block hugger headers. What I'm looking for is what brackets to use. This engine will only have one belt so the brackets must be adjustable. Thanks for any help. Charlie

Overspray, why not check with one of the members of SRS, Steve Jack. he's got brackets and pulleys etc.

Overspray.

I had the Alan Grove TPI brackets on my Studebaker and really liked them. I just ran with an alternator for a while before I got the air working, and had no belt slippage that way. Some of the other brackets mount the alternator too close to the engine centerline and then the belts slip on the water pump pulley.
