How many of you have read Street Rod Builders Magazine? First class all the way, great cars and lots of tips. Hard to find but well worth it if you can find one.

I like this magazine a lot. I get five at the moment: Street Rodder, Rod & Custom, Street Rod Builder, Hot Rod, and Chevy HiPerformance. But will probably let my subscription to HotRod go when it expires as I don't learn anything from it anymore.

As a "kustom guy" I really like all the tech articles you can find in Street Rod Builder. What I really like is that although it's called Street Rod Builder it goes beyond that. The articles cover more the just the pre 48 crowd.
The fact that they have Gerry Burger on the staff means alot to me. I tell you, some of the most fun I ever had with a magazine in my hands was when him and Steve Hendrikson worked together at Rodder's Digest. You should check out Super Rod to.

I buy both and they're worth it. Burger knows how to talk with you, not at you.

I absolutely agree with what everyone has been saying about these mags. They are the best available on the market today-outside Rodders Journal, which is almost a coffee table publication. Incidentaly, has anyone read the editorial by John Dianna in either one of these mags, I forget which one. Anyway, he wrote why his mags cost nearly $30.00 for an annual subscription while others cost less than $10.00 at times. And, as others have noted, it is possible through ebay to get four and five year subs to many mags for $10.00 to $15.00. What gives? It is John's assessment that "you get what you pay for". His editorial really lays out the economics and the realities of the publishing business. The growth of his publishing business has been beyond their belief and certainly has caused a lot of stomach acid for the other publishers. I, for one, will continue to subscribe because I feel I am getting more than my money's worth. We will see who survives.
