If you need to kill some time, travel West on I-70 about 30 minutes or so from Manhattan. There is a junk yard on the right side of the interstate. The owner allows people to walk around and look. Most of the 30 & 40's stuff mostly gone, but a lot of 50's and 60's stuff still there, at least it was two years ago.

Stop at Easy Jack's salvage on the west side of Junction City. I think its just off of old highway 40. He has acres and acres of projects to look at.
