Sheryl's grandmother is getting ready to be put in a home, she's 91 and can't remember half of what she's doing. We'll have to move her and all of the stuff that goes along with the shuffle. It's for the better and she knows it's time to get help. Anyhow within the next month or so we'll truck on up to the Pittsbug area. I don't know just when yet, but I know York is coming up and there's the cops and rodders show...was there a deck party also? Any other shows of note? Thanks guys!

Bill,
On May 18th & 19th, there's one of the oldest continous shows anywhere, The Battlefield Rod Run. On the 18th, there's a poker run through the Gettysburg Battle Field, that ends with a cruise in at a Burger King. Then, on Sunday, the Battlefield Rod Run at the South Mountain fair grounds. Always a good tune up for Nats East.
Sorry to hear about her mom. That's a tough thing to go through. Good Luck with the move. If you're interested in that show, let me know. I'll keep my eyes open for other activities.

If ya wanna head south a ways Ocean Citys "Boardwalk Cruise" is May 16-19. Super show but im warning ya....it gets tight with 4,000 cars and 350 bazillion every day tourists. If ya go, where you park is where you should stay the whole time your there. The second you fire up your rod you got a traffic jam of other rods fighting for your spot.
Great show if you wanna check it out.

We lost Sheryl's grandfather last year at 92..he just went out on the deck, went to sleep and just didn't wake up. Man what a way to go! No pain or suffering, just drift off..hope I'm lucky enough to have my life end is like that. Sheryl's grandmother will do well at the assisted living center..it's like a big hotel with lots to do but still having staff on hand to help. It should work out for her..she's pretty active, just get's a little confused somedays.

MAYBE.... just maybe you should get yourself a room there too. You seem to get " a little confused " somedays too.
And maybe if you are real nice they will put you next to my room, Ed's room is just down the hall.

Sorry to hear. We just had to do the same this this week. Whole family came down from PA to try making her as comfortable as possible in the new place.
