Yeah it is a little....ok a whole lot steep for what ya got. Ya pay that your just blowing money away that ya shouldn't have to spend. For example, bought mine from a farmer in PA for $1350.00, Barn Fresh 56,000 mile original miles, built it up with all the good dependable stuff and just sold it complete with everything except the sink for 10K 4 months ago. And this guy wants $9500 for a incomplete panel? Is he insane?
Check out Bowties ride...thats way more reasonable than this guy. If that isn't what ya want, cruise the swapmeets. Panels are really comin' on strong! I think it was my fault though, bought mine and 8 weeks later there was a grand total of 6 1948-52 Ford panels (mine was a 48) within a 10 mile radious. Now ya got everything from Chevys to Fords to Dodges to Internationals to Studes.
Welcome to the wonderful world of street rodding my friend...let this be a lesson to stay away from the idiots that wanna sell nothing for a arm and a leg.
Just my honest opinion...thats the way I see it.

Hi Ryan! This is what I like about this site. There is a wealth of experiance here, sounds like some may have paid their dues in days gone by.LOL I think that the price is high, but you would have to see it, check out the parts that have been put into it, and do some parts shopping. and do some labour shopping. If you can do all of that work yourself, cool! You can save on buying the truck, the parts, etc. But if you are limited on what you can do yourself, price out a chop job, (with glass that fits) and the other parts (Mustang front end installed) you get my drift. If the work is quality work, and all the stuff is there it may be a bargin. Only you can be the judge of that. Oh yea, make sure that it is done right and safty first. Good luck!
Ken.
