I would love to see some photos of early ford dashes. I am trying to get some ideas of how to lay mine out. Anyone ever buy one of those aftermarket 32 dashes for a Model A? How did it fit? Thanks Rick

I have a 32 style dash panel from Brookville Roadster with 6 Stewart Warner Wings guages in my '30 pickup. Fit is good. I'll try to post a pic as soon as I can. The are about $90, I think. I got mine a few years ago but I don't think the price has changed much. Gary

My dash is a 32 FOMOCO steel dash in a FOMOCO steel 32. I wanted it plain and originial looking.
3 gauges just like Henry did it. Speedometer in the center, temperature on the drivers side, fuel on the passenger side.

The down side of my plan is that you do not have any idea about the oil pressure or the volts, so I made a drop down panel from a gas door lid hinge. So I can drop it down while riding, flip it up while sitting at a show or cruise in.

Rick, one of my all time favorite gauage cluster is a 50 Pont. This gauge cluster would look awesome in a 32 dash and would give you all the needed info at a glance. :)

I'm building a 31 roadster on 32 rails.
The body is a Brookville and from what I understand, Brookville parts are an accurate bolt on to the stock bodies.
The 32 styled dash - steel - fits fine.
Attached is a pic of my 32 dash.
.063 stainless machine turned at home.
2nd pic shows an additional pair of instruments that are out of sight to the casual viewer, but in plain sight to the driver.
These two instruments sit about 10" back from the dash face.

Deuce, that look is perfect. That is what I want, nice & clean. Did you make the inserts? aftermarket? I love the flip down look. Thanks again, Rick

For mine I used a Billet Specialties gauge cluster mounted upside down, and VDO gauges. I didn't want to cut the '32 dash up more than necessary, so I made a secondary panel out of 1/4" billet. This holds the stereo and switches. The "clock" just hangs on a hook.
