Well, I wasn't going to go there but since you "started" everyone guessing I'll explain that I didn't really want to do a burnout in Syracuse cuz I knew I still had over 6,000 miles to go on the "Lipstick Run" http://www.geocities.com/lipstickrun/ and I didn't want to break anything. Since I still don't want to break anything, even close to home, I don't do burnouts. Love to watch them though. :)

Finally!!!! I got to see Denise and the Big Olds on TV last night. Funny thing though, I had oral surgery yesterday and was so hopped up on codine, I had to ask Debbie this morning if we saw Denise on tv or if was I dreaming?! lol

After Debbie confirmed that we did see her, she started up again about putting an automatic tranny and electric seats in the 50 so she can make the lipstick run!

I was very surprised to see part of the interview HRTV did with me while on the tour. From what everyone had been saying it was just a couple of shots of me and Big Olds blowing down the highway. Low and behold, it was a new episode and I was actaully on 3 times. 20 seconds of a 3 minute interview, then after the guy won the giveaway car they did a pan of the grandstands and I was standing and cheering (had red shirt on), then there was the "were's Waldo" shot of all the long haulers. I know where I was standing, so I could pick myself out. Most others won't be able to with freeze frame on the vcr. Of course I put in a tape and hit record at the very begining but neglected to put the vrc on the right channel so of course I taped this stupid football game instead of the power tour coverage! I can change out just about anything under the hood of Big Olds but I can't tape a dump program on tv!! LOL Oh well, I'll catch it later on in the week.

I think you should just buy Debb her own ride and she can come not only on the Lipstick Run with us girls, but any other show that might catch her fancy. Looking forward to seeing you guys next month in Charlotte. I will bring my Lipstick Run photos. :))

That is my most favorite hat. Unfortunately yesterday the little leather strap in the back that kept it tight on my head BROKE!!! WAAAA :((( I've been wearing it consistantly for a year and a half. I guess it wasn't going to last forever. I'm going to take it up to the shoemaker to see if he'll sew it for me.

Don't know if it was or not, just got home. Been gone ALL day working. :)) Gotta make some money so I can get my gas guzzzzzzling 455 to KC next month! They usually show the same program for at least 3 weeks, so if thats the case the second half of the Power Tour coverage will still be on for 2 more weeks. The Speed channel website shows the schedule for Hot Rod TV. Tomorrow nite 10:30 EST is when it will air again. I'm going to TRY to record it again. I can't figure out why I have so much trouble recording with this stupid vrc. Maybe I'll go try to dig out the directions. :))
