SBC valve cover spacers

OK, yous guys might be able to help me. I'm looking for a set of valve cover spacers that will give me enough height to clear a set of roller rockers and poly locks.

I remember they use to make 1/2" spacers that you could use two sets of gaskets on.

I'd buy a tall set of valve covers but I have matched everything with ball milling and would hate to mess up the matching.......

There were some on ebay a while back. I think 47convert bought some. He might still have the company's name. I think they were around $80 too, tho.

I'm in pretty tight with a guy that has a waterjet and some laser cutting machines. I've often thought that I should make a bunch of spacers and adapters and sell them.

After pricing the spacers, it might just be cheaper to buy new valve covers! I can't believe an unpolished spacer runs $84 when polished tall valve covers are $65!
