On Saturday the 24th, Gordon Walker (NRSA safety rep for SC) and a club (Edisto Cruisers) he is a member of put together a nice cruise to the coast. The tour included historic homes, scenic views and cruising around Charleston's down town market area. We had a guide around the city and ended at the Battery. The Battery is where the Civil War (the War Between the States) began. Our guide left us at the Battery and I took over to lead them out to a local seafood eatery. I am a past resident of Charleston so I was the logical choice.

We went up Hwy 61 past old plantations and beautiful oaks to Summerville SC to eat. The fresh seafood was great. Everyone had a great time except it was warm. A 100+ degrees. So the wife and I drove the roadster 250 miles in the heat with no top. We be warm !

Hope the photo comes up. This was taken on the Battery overlooking the Charleston Harbor, where the first shots of the war was fired from.
