Pat, if your talking wheel dust covers here, Godfather Customs has 'em.

Done up in Brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, stainless, chrome, or plastic (to be honest I'd get the aluminum and if ya wanna paint 'em scuff 'em and spray away..anybody with half a brain knows plastic aint gonna hold to severe brake temps.).

Also you can find them in different styles like solid (no vent holes/slots), cross drilled with the holes staggered, or slotted and cross drilled. Dont know off the top of my head how much, but I do know they aren't gonna break the bank unless you have some wierd bolt pattern and they have to custom make 'em. I also think they have a universal unit that has the stud holes every 1/8th inch or so. Just spin it on around and chances are it'll slide right in on your studs.

Cheaper idea.
Look at the Duplicolor ad in the new Street Rodder. They suggest painting the calipers the same color as your car.
I like that idea better than billet.

Why would you want holes or slots in dust covers? I know I'm too old to change but, I'm curious. BTW I got some from Mr. Gasket also . Just stud holes. B-O-B DSRA

Lets the brakes breathe better. Get 'em too hot and your bound to lose the whoa to your go. These dust covers are the poor mans cross drilled disc brake lookalike setup. Looks just like 'em!

They are cut in like louvers, and at an angle also. They also have a little lip on the edge of them. Lets the heat exscape but not the brake dust. The ones I had on my Chevy were made by a company called "Kleen Wheels". Bought them at Pep Boys for $60 for all 4. The 17 inch had to be ordered. Made a HUGE difference in the ease of cleaning the wheels. LOTS less brake dust and dirt on them. Mine were black so it showed off the wheel more. They also came in a chrome like finish or you could paint them to match the color of your ride.

Pat,

Think the item you are looking for that snaps onto the calpier itself is made by Speedfreaks Machine & Design, 612 Frankfurt Dr., Hermitage, TN 37076 615-859-6670. They had an write up about them in Street Rod Builder. Have a photo that I can scan and send to you if you want.
