Just returned home from Evansville. This was my first time there and my wife and I had a good time!As they say in thier litterature"A rod run by rodders, for rodders".As of Saturday PM there were 4080 cars registered, most being nicely done drivers. This show was designed to drive your car to,park and have fun...very few trailered/high dollar"show" cars on the grounds...not that the cars there weren't nice, most were cars..not works of art.The food was Fantastic and Cheap....$1 hot dogs,Large $1 Sodas,$1.25 Burgers etc, etc!Lots of games both for the adults and kids as well as a very nice playground to entertain the little ones..a very family oriented event.Breakfast and dinner provided to the registered participants,an event shirt/promo hotwheels car as well as lots of prizes and entertainment provided for the $12 entry fee...Very hard to beat!!I had hoped to meet several SRS members but not having been there before, was very unfamiliar with the layout.I did however meet Checkered Flag(Kelly) and his family, wife Barb, daughter Kim and son Bryan and spent most of Sarurday visiting at the show.We met his family for dinner that night and had a great time enjoying both the good company and great food!I will definately be doing this one again and might be one to put on your calender for 03...See Ya!!

Daryle,

I had a great time meeting you and Denise! Thanks for taking the time to do alot of explaining and sharing some good learning information! Hopefully we'll both have cars there next year!

If not we'll still have a good time! Maybe we can even get a few more SRS Folks to show up!
