I promise you won't be disappointed if you can make it down to see us.
I am personally giving y'all the invite to come and try out some of our Southern hospitality.
For info check out their web site(cruisinthecoast.com)

A few of my good friends from Texas are coming over to meet a few of us out of Atlanta. We are going wednesday and returning Sunday. Staying at the Beaurivage. I hate casinos, but it was the only one that had rooms for us.

Steve,
I understand about the accomodations, it gets pretty tight but there are alternatives. If you contact Gulf Coast Reservations 1-888-388-1006 sometimes they can be of help, but, it appears they cater to the big name hotels and the casino hotels. My wife and I were fortunate to get a condo for 8 days at a rate of $85.00 a day in Long Beach which is right on hwy 90. You and friends might consider this as an alternative next year. The day rate was cheaper than most hotel room rates during the cruise. The condo is offering its' off season rate at that time, the hotels automatically jack the room rates up from Thursday thru Sunday. I think this is really in bad taste, but, their excuse is always the law of supply and demand, of course we know it's the law of squeezing as many dollars out of us as they can.
Try using google as a search engine and type(coast city i.e. Gulfport, Biloxi, Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, your choice of which + Mississippi + condo)you should get a listing of those along the coast.
Hope you all have a great time with us.
Later--Bobby

Steve, I guess I'm your room fairy this year. I've got 3 extra rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Biloxi right on the main drag. This is the place, if you remember me mentioning from last year, that has not only the free breakfast in the morning but FREE BEER and COCKTAILS in the evening!! Huge greassy, treed area out front where everyone hangs out and watches the cruzn action from. Plenty of parking. You can come and go as you please without having to worry about not having a spot when you return. Lots of nice resturants in the area. If you'd like these rooms I can send you the confirmatin numbers and you can put them in your name. Debb and Rob might go also so I'm holding a room for them. If they WUSS out, their room would be available too.

Bobby, glad to see you hanging around here once again. You were missed. I don't know if you remember, but I still owe you a ride in Big Olds. You know where to find me. :))

Hey Denise,
Good to be back and I ain't forgot. Maybe we can all hook up down there somewhere. I haven't met any of the SRS members as yet. We plan to be down on the 6th for the whole 8 days. I'll get in touch via e-mail the week before.Glad your ride turning out for you. My older brother just finished his 57 Chevy 2-dr hardtop and is planning to bring it down for his first CTC. We all look forward to this event, it's the biggest thing in our area. I've only been into the street rod sport about four years now and I can't get enough of it. look forward to seeing ya'll.
MAKE IT RUN AND HAVE SOME FUN!
