Thanks for the reply. The ones I would like to find were similar to these, but they look just like your originals only printed on new backings and with modern ranges.

I think you are speaking about thge "Encore"line of gauges from www.speedometershop.com. They will up-grade your originals but may have some in stock. Expensive but worth it
if that's the look your after. (quoted me a 8 - 12 mth turn around)

They wanted 800.00 to do the gauges for my 36! No way I'll pay that to restore my old ones! And they wanted 1200.00 if I didn't have the gauges to rebuilt! I'm going with Moon Eyes!

bowtie I hear you, they quoted me right around that for my '38 Dodge. Speedo and Quad. I decided for a third of the price I went with Dolphin's.

There is a little trick I've seen for restoring old guage faces if you can remove them.. Take the old face and take it to a good copy shop and have it blown up by a certain percentage. At that point, it,s fairly easy to use a good pen and india ink to replace or renew the line and numbers. If you can't handle it, most likely ya know someone with a steady hand. In my case, a "boozer" lol once the sheet is clean and looking good, you can have the sheet reduced by the same percentage and any small imperfections that you had when it was blown up, are also reduced to virtually nothing. I saw this done with a big round speedo out of some old car and the finished product was awesome! The use of "white out" for some clean up also works. Happy guage hunting or restoring. If you're planning on complete replacement of the guages, it wouldn't hurt to give it a try and see if it's yur thing.
