Americans Going to the Aussie Hot Rod Nats.

Are there any american's on this roundtable that will be attending the ASRF(australian street rod accosiation) Nationals in Geelong? I Highly reccomend as a holiday, you will have a ball. Our nationals have a lot more to do than the NSRA's, like the Go-to-whoa. I know that Steve Coonan and Tex Smith will be there, but who else?

Tbird65, You forgot to entice them with the USD$$ being worth 1.66 australian dollars, think guys your money goes further and its a hotrod holiday, what more could you ask for! There seems to be a few Aussies on this forum , sure there would be willing tour guides. BTW tbird are you going to castlemaine swap?

Castlemaine swap is on the 6th of April, bit far away from the nats for you unfortunately. Always a good turn out and usually a good amount of old car stuff turns up, especially for a small swap. btw sean are you going to the swap? as you are a little closer than tbird.

Your Famous Raz!
Flatoz I might be there but the '32 roadster is proving to be unreliable, a minor problem that know-one seems to know what it is. I've been to the swap with my dad for the past few years and is usually a good swap, and we stop by Rod hadfields shop to check out the chev on the way home.

Hey Sean:
I will not be able to attend, but if there was a bridge... Anyways, I went to a cuise-in and they had a magazine from Australia on a table called Cruzin, edition #22, and there was a photo of my 33 Willys at the cruise-in! I guess my hot rod is now internationally known, Very cool! Never know where you will see a SRS member or their car!
