Hello everyone, I need help!!! I have a 700r4 transmission out of a 1986 camaro. The original car had a digital dash. The trans has what I think is VSS for the speedometer out put sender. I purchased a VDO programable speedo. My question, can I drive this speedo with the sender thats already in the trans? or do I have to change it? If I can How do I wire it to the speedo. I think the trans has a pig tail type plug on the sender that has 2 spade type connectors. This is a non computer motor the trans. is hooked to. I would apreciate any help.

Ground either terminal on the sending unit and hood the Speedo up to the other one. Sending unit is a simple hall effect sensor same as the units that come with the electric speedos.
