Rocker Switches

I bought a set of power window rocker switches at Columbus last summer and used them while wiring my car this past fall. I have not put the windows up and down five times yet and one of the switches has given up the ghost already. I don't want to replace the broken one with another one just like it. Do any of you guys know of a manufacturer that makes a heavy duty rocker switch. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. RRM

Do like I did in my ride. I used power switches from a junk car. Just wander thu your local auto yard (Victoria Secrets for Men) untill you find what you want, then cut the wires to it as long as you can and take the switch with it. Dave

Without knowing what type of switch you have I think it's impossible to match your switch from here. But I think STeve Watson makes a great product line of all kinds of switches and switch panels for windows etc. Visit http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/switches.html and take a looksie! If it's a conventional electrical switch then you may find it at Newark Electronics. If it's a standard chrome bezel looking paddle switcht that was frequently used in GM cars in the 60s70s/80s...then NAPA carries them in the Echlin line and/or you can find them at some auto parts store under that "Help" product line in the red boxes.
