Okay, all you guys that are fighting to buy this, I'm only about 20 miles from Princeton. Looks like most of it will fit in the back of my Ranger. LOL...just kidding about the Ranger. Wonder why I've never seen this car on the road?

A whole car?? Why do you have to have a whole car? I've never started with a whole car. It's more fun to search for that "right" part. Dave

You are right Jr. It is a little better to start out with a more car than rust. Dave on the other hand could start out with a rusty door hinge fron a 28 Essex and build a fantastic rod beond your imagination. If time and money is no object then it just doesnt matter....(Dave excluded here)...He`s a "miricle worker"...And my hero.

Hey Ed!! Here's one I found on an old farm grove, it's a Chrysler of some sort,4dr that was cut down to a pickup. Will take a lot of smoothing to make it right but is doable. There were a bunch of other cool stuff there also,a HeneryJ,a 34 or 35 International truck and a late 40's International truck tractor, a 37 Buick business coupe with a straight 8, a early 50's Buick more door and a model A 2d sedan body and frame and another frame and front fenders, a 49 or 50 Ford 2dr and a 46-49 Ford F1 pickup and a couple early to mid 50's Lincolns. I know the owner and he said he'd part with some of the old tin, just hope it's cheap!! Bill

Oh, and the Chrsyler had a straight 8 in it also. Here is the 37 Buick business coupe, I think the year is right, the grill is broken and a couple of pieces are gone and the front seat is missing but the rest is there and the body seems solid. If ya want ya can go to my Star photo album and on page 4 is the rest of the pics. Bill http://photo.starblvd.net/moparrodder?st=album&pg=0&pw=*59B33E3C8887

Hey Bill, I've been to the same place a few times and talked to the farmer too. Kinda weird, its back in nowwhere land and here somone else knows about it. There are also a couple newer cars, fairlane, edsel, three 69 buicks, 64 chevy 4door(I need the grill out of it for my biscayne)... The body of the Henryj was in pretty good shape, just the one quarter panel that was inverted by cows rubing against it-I've seen them made into some pretty cool looking hotrods. I think the lincols were a 55 and a 53 both still had engines, one had power everything-windows seats... In my spare time I got individual county maps of most of the counties in west Iowa and have drove nearly every road, marking a spot where a car sits with a number. You can then look that number up in a notebook I have to see what car/s are at that location. Iv'e been working on this for a couple years...I have too much time or maybe to much to do that i don't want to do so i go drive around instead

Jesse, I spent most of Sunday afternoon with the owner and some a$$ and his kid from Denison pestered the heck out of him for the cars. I told him when I talked to him earlier that I would wait till after they were done harvesting to talk about price, ther's nothing more disgusting than being bothered when you're tring to get your crops out, I mean they have been sitting there for years what's a couple of weeks going to hurt. Any way I took some pics after getting permission to go on his land and when I was there Sunday with him there was a lot of parts taken off the cars and he said that the two from Denison were hounding him that there was parts missing and they weren't worth muck and he finally caved in and just to get rid of them he let them have 13 cars for 30 bucks apiece, I guess being a total a$$ and not showing the man any respect and stealing parts just to get the price down gets you what you want. I WASN"T raised that way!! The only thing is if they don't get them out by spring the farmer said He would give me any one that I want so I hope we have a lot of crappy weather for a whike, would serve them right!! Well I've ranted long enough. Later, Bill
