Winter came on too quick!

First flakes of the year landed around 8:30 last night, and guess what? It hasn't stopped snowing/sleeting/raining yet. We're lookin' at around 6" here at the house, with ice, slush and all that good stuff on top. And they say Round 2 is yet to come..... Sometime around Midnight or later tonight/tomorrow morning another 3 to 6" is due to fall before this clears out tomorrow HOPEFULLY before Noon.

Too cold, too snowy, TOO DAMNED QUICK! I'm ready for Spring/Summer already.

To top it off, today a local club was supposed to set up everything for their indoor car show at the state Fairgrounds Cow Palace, tomorrow and Sunday..... My guess is, it was/is a repeat of the last 3 years..... Double the snow, and half the cars. Bummer......

Funny thing is... I was thinking about "sliding" my way out there tomorrow maybe. LOL... That is, if we thaw out and this stuff melts fast. This time we opted to park the snowblower. Pops foots broke, and I haven't figured out a way to hook a plow or snowblower to this thing I'm parked in yet so it can melt on it's own. Anyway, after last years 3 foot storm, we had our fill of snowblowing...1080 foot long private driveway (that for the record, the state DONT plow), 40 feet wide, 36" wide snowblower= NOT FUN!

AW but the exercise will make you feel better that is what the experts say....
Glad you got it and not us although we need snow here to keep the septic from freezing.

I've got to get better sights on my pickup!!! I just keep missing them by inches. We came REAL close on the way to Asheville during the Thanksgiving day ride up to dad's house.

Yup......we took out a Bambi last evening......poor thing never had a chance. She came out of a small wooded area that had a hill in the center of it. When she came off the hill and hit the icy street, she lost her footing and went right under my left front corner. Prolly lucky for me she did fall down. Still scared the living CRAP outta me......

Bet you'll hook up deer horns to the ol hot rod! LOL.... Just make sure they're aiming in the right direction. I'd hate to see ya get chased and run down by a whole herd of 'em. LOL
