Okay you rod experts...how much are these worth?

I have not ever sold any parts from steel rods before. I just happen to have the original hood sides from a 34 Ford that are in great shape and primed with handles and latches. I saved them off my 34 that I sold several years ago. I want them out of my garage but don't know what to ask for them?

And I have a 34 grill frame in very good shape as well. There is welded in small bars, but I figure someone would want the frame.

Any help is appreciated.

Put em on Ebay...They buy everything. Reserve at what you think you would want for them. Things like that are worth what ever the person looking for them will pay.

I agree! I have stuff on there now and people fight over the parts sometimes.

I have never sold anything on EBAY so I guess I might give it a try? Also have other parts to add as well.

Thanks for the advice!

It took me a bit to figure it out but just follow the steps to register and it's real easy. If i can figure it out anyone can...LOL It is best to sell something with a pic so pic up a cheap digital camera if you dont have one.I'm still cleaning my attic out looking for more to put on there.

When you list them on ebay, chance it and don't put a reserve. I have found that with no reserve they tend to bid much more and end up paying more. Something about the phsycololgy of auctions, when there is no reserve they know that it will be sold and their bid is more real.

I've been looking for a 33 Ford grille surround made out of fiberglass on Ebay. I've seen only a habful of them and they sold for50+ bucks. I lost out on one for 41 bucks (damn!) BUT, I just won a bid for a 33 Chevy fiberglass surround almost new for 58 bucks and I think it will be easier to adapt to the rodmonster. The 33 grilles alone go for 250 to as high as a grand! Dave
