Those are pretty big doors to deal with. I have seen one done that way at Americruise, but I didn't pay much attention as to how it was done. So, I guess I can say that yes, it can be done, but I can't advise how. Sorry. Anyone else?

JW, Harold's area code has changed to 269 and the old one (616) doesn't always work anymore.

Why would you want suicide doors ????? I have a '33 Ford coupe (suicide doors) I spent a lot of time and energy comming up with a lock that would not open by accident. A friend of mine had a 33 coupe and while driving down the highway at speed his drivers door came open........I guess we were moving about 80 miles per hour.......long story short......the door hit the stop at 80 miles per hour.....cost him a door and fender and body work on the door/body post repsirs........they call them "suicide doors" for a reason..... The factory only had them for one year !!!!

Your right. I did not have my brain fully in gear when I started going too fast...........it could happen... But a buddy had his door come open on the road and it was a close call. If I understand correctly that was one of the reasons the door did not stay that way very long. The other reason was "modesty"... When women opened the door to step out of a vehicle with this type door, they sort of lost thier "modesty"......... I thought the 32 had the standard door opening during it original manufacture (?)
