Last year at a show we spotted a car that had a real nice sign board on the ground in front of it. It had a real nice pic of the car and told all about it. I wrote down the company that made it and lost it. Any help?
thanks, Alan

What show?
What type of car?
What type of sign?
You've got to give a little more info.
Taking a guess on what sign company it was is like throwing darts at the moon

If you look in the phone book under custom signs, They should be able to set you up. If not they would know who can in your area.

We saw something like that from a vendor at the Run to the Sun last year but we didn't take notes...maybe somebody attending can help.

Mine for my Chevy was done by a member of my car club who was a professional sign painter. He charged $125. I was very happy with the way it turned out. My dad's buddy made him one about the same time as mine, we were both using them for the same indoor show. Dads looked like a 8 year old did it. I'll see if I can get Gus over here with his ditigel camera and I'll take a photo of it.

You mean you haven't used one yet??? They are the newest camera on the market. Give it a shot Bill, you won't be disappointed! LOL :)))
All I know is that the guy that does these signs is in PA..If I can dig up more exact info (address, website, ect..) I'll hook ya up Al..
This guy takes a DIGITAL pic of your car and somehow or another through his computer graphics set up he can send it to the sign printer....You can get 'em in plyable plastic or painted aluminum with as much or as little info as you want.

I have made several for folks that show their cars in this area. For an 18 x 24 inch size, on aluminum prices start at around $50 for a simple sign, around $75.00 for one with a photo, or a couple photos of your car. I've been in the sign business for over 15 years, and I am the VP, and chief designer for a regional lighted sign manufacturer.
The most popular ones have a faux marble background, with the information on it in a lighter color, with shadowing and accent colors picked up off the car. i'll be glad to make you a no obligation proof (letter size) if you'd like to see a sample of my work. Just send a photo of your car, and the information you'll want on your sign.
The signs are all exterior grade, high quality digital printing, with a high gloss clearcoat sealer.

for those of you in the NC area you may want to check with LynnJ from this board, he and his wife are also in the sign business and you can trust the quality of their work.
