Although it has somewhat limited circulation around northern Ohio, it is a very interesting idea and magazine. Not sure if any of you have seen it. I thought I would list the net address and you may want to check it out. John, an aquaintance of mine, publishes a printed magazine that covers all kinds of cruising information, in and around northern Ohio and this web sit.

Yep, I live out of it during the cruising season. Lets see, that’s July and August around here, right? I really should subscribe, but I pick mine up at Kenny’s Rod and Kustom. So what’ your favorite cruise?

Favorite cruise ??? I like them all. We have been going to Pheasant Run, sometimes, great wings and the coldest beer in the world. Lots of shade to park under. Huron on Sundays is a good place for a drive along the lake and ice cream. Cruisin times usually has a cruise in the summer which will entail about 100 cars in a caravan travelling out to somewhere and back.....this is cool. We are not real interested in the car shows (winners / loosers). Just the fun of driving around, checking out the cars and meeting new folks that havent groun up yet, just like us.

We have something similar here in Michigan, It's great for a single source on all the local car shows/events in the area. I think it's called the "Cruisin News" here.

Cruisin' Times is our summer bible. It not only covers the northern Ohio area, but all of Ohio, and many events in Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, W Virginia and Kentucky.
The Cruisin' Times has 7 buses going up to Detroit for the Autorama on Feb 22 and they are one of the major sponsors of the Blue Suede Cruise, that is held at Norwalk Raceway May30-Jun 1st. Last years Blue Suede was the premire cruise and drew over 900 cars..can't wait for this years. There should be well over 1000 cars.
Like Rich said, check out their web site.

We have a local publication called Ragtops & Runningboards that lists all of the southeast shows..normally 4-6 pages of listings of shows and cruises.

The Choppers have been around since 1956. Unless it falls on a holiday, there has been a meeting every Thursday since it started. That commitment is probly what has kept the club together.
Jerry did the flames on my '39 Chevy too.

If everyone really wants to help out these local magazines and see them continue not only should they purchase a subcription, (that money really doesn't go far for the publisher) they should frequate the ADVERTISERS in the magazine. Then let the advertisers know that you are seeking their product/service via said magazine. advertising dollars are the life blood of these publications. believe me, every refrence made to the advertiser concerning that publication will be noted.
