My car is a 33 ford vicky phaeton and I am in the process of making the area in the top of the door where the glass travels up and down threw to fit weatherstrip in. some call it anti-rattlers or belt strip. What products have been used or part numbers, I have some rubber that is L shaped and is 3/4"x 1/2" but it is going to be diificult to get a really smooth finish between it and the door skin. Any and all advice would be appreciated

Here is a very good place too get weather strips for Prototype work and or one of a kind!, that is really what you are going!
click on this link
http://www.crlaurence.com/apps/search/indexSearch.asp
Then go to Automotive section on the lower right middle.
You will find lots of bit's and pieces, for custom work. Hope this is what you are looking for

thanks bob I have the crlaurence cataloque already and have looked at the weatherstripe there. The problem I have is the space in the top of the door is only 1" with the glass centredI have put some pictures on web shots of the car http://community.webshots.com/user/tooltime109.
