As soon as I figure out how to work this camera and make the pictures appear, I will try to foward some to you. In the mean time just picture something that almost resembles a 1965 Mustang, Or the moon surface.

Cover the whole car with about 2 inches of Bondo and then sand away anything that doesn't look lke a 65 Mustang.

Thats not as silly as it sounds.....if you wipe the whole area with bog ( bondo)using a plastic applicator so you can evenly spread it over, then use a half sheet sander..I think you call them a DA sander , then evenly sand back until you hit metal...then stop. Don't push down too hard so the area flexes down. Its near impossible to get large flat areas ripple free with just a hammer and dolly and slapper bar and body file.

I bought a 67 chevelle one time to restore, after getting the bondo off, it had not one usable panel on it. Took a big loss on this one.

Just leave them in...especially the bullet holes. Nobody will cut you off in traffic or pull out in front of you...in fact they will avoid you like the plague.

Oh yeah, put on a bumper sticker that says "Keep honking, I'm reloading"

learning how to drop in an engine will be easier than fixing the body. Get the car running first, and stopping, THEN put the bumper sticker on that says "keep honking...I'm reloading." I like the idea of driving it with the holes and dents. Dare to be different.

SAAAY..I've got an idea! Pull the car around back, turn it into a planter and get something that isn't dented as much. Sounds like yo're looking to do a LOT of work. Is this a family heirloom???
