This is what happens when you have a few days off and it is 65 degrees outside. Oh Well........ I will just freshen up the little 283 and have the 40 ready for Myrtle Beach in March.

Hey Deuce, Is that a little of your battery showing in the stock location? If so, how much clearance do you have with the 283? For my '40, I want to keep the battery out of the trunk but didn't know if there would be enough room with a small block.

To 40luv.....

The battery is in the stock position but it is a old home made box made from angle iron and scrap from around the shop. The stock battery box was eaten up by battery acid (like most 40's). The location works ok but does make it a little more difficult when changing spark plugs.

ED...... the check is in the mail but since the US Mail does not have 4 wheel drives...... sounds like the coldness and dark will be there soon.
