I have a 1968 Chevy P/U with a 350. I am replacing the stock starter (which has 2 terminals - marked "S" and "R") with a mini starter (which has 1 terminal - marked "S"). My problem is not knowing how to convert between the two. What should I do with the second "R" lead? Is it necessary to re-wire the truck? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just taped it up.It was the one closest to the frame.Just used the inside wire and the big one MIKE
