Hello everyone. I haven't posted here for over a year, and thought I'd share a link to the documentation of the change of my headlights, just wrapped up late May. http://bryceandbernie.homestead.com/HeadliteChangeProject.html

Looks good Bryce. I like the albums, nice idea. I'd be interested to see how you built your rollover 'tool'.

Re. the roll-over jig: I fab'd that from some 1" box tubing and some pieces of K-Mart clothing display rack, you know, those big round circular things that they hang stuff from. I cut the 1/4 round sections (corner of the 'L' shape)from the circle (about 1" tubing too, I think), then welded up the stanchions to bolt to the hinge mounts in front, and the fender mounting holes in back (vertical part of the 'L' shape). The horizontal pieces (bottom part of 'L')were just straight box sections bolted to the floor with casters added to allow me to roll the body around. It was just luck I guess, but the balance was so good I could actually lift and roll the body over 90 degrees with one hand!

The rework sure looks better than the '80's style rectangular headlights! Styles change....sometimes for the better. Nice web site, too.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
