Any body else in here participate in the Hot Rod Power Tour this year? I was a long hauler this year. Drove a total of 2862 Miles in my '38 chevy coupe. Speeds ranging from 60-90 and averaged 22 MPG with the ac on most of the time. Had a great time, met lots of nice folks and shared the highways with some awsum StreetRod Stuff.

The Power Tour is a blast, isn't it Mike? My buddy Patrick and myself went a few years back when they started in Detroit and ended up on the left coast. Because of business demands,we only went as far as Springfield Mo. I have plans on doing it again when the truck is completed.

I went to Nashville and Memphis then had to head home, seems like work always messes up a good time.Had a good time while I was there and no problems,my brother had a brake line start leaking causing a soft pedal while driving to the gas station we all met up at.He fixed it at a buddys house before we hit the road. Got lucky on that one. Jim

Haven't posted in a while - computer lost my bookmarks....
We went this year and had a great time, did the long haul in our 68 Torino GT, total of 5715 miles. Met up with freinds we hadn't seen since Power Tour 2001. Ready to go next year!
