Hi,
Can anyone tell me the distance from center of spring to center of spring in an S-10 rear end?
I was told that the 44x4 rear is wider!I can't buy that one!
Thanks Russ&Irene

It is true.......
At least the overall width of the rear end (wheel mounting flange to wheel mounting flange) is wider on the 4 X 4 rear end.
The spring perches may be in the same location......I do not know.

Checkout: www.s10forum.com everything you ever wanted to know about s-10/s and alot of stuff you don't need to know is on it. Of course you do have to register to post about like here on SRS. I do know there are several messages on suspensions and how to id rear gears on there right now.
Good Luck!
