I got up Sunday and washed the 35 and took it to the Hooters show. We baked in the parking lot, drank some beer and watched Nascar. Well I won the Nascar pool, hit for a couple of bucks on lottery scratch tickets and then as I was sitting inside drinking a beer they announced the awards were going to be given out. I don't normally win anything so I just sat in the air conditioned comfort and enjoyed the sights. A couple of minutes later a guy grabs me by the arm and says " they're giving away the trophys get out there!" so I wander outside where I'm told that I won an award for best interior ( I was amazed!!) Then the announcer says to me "don't go anywhere". He then tells me I've got best in show also!!! I am having a REALLY good day!! A pair of foot trophys and to get my photo taken with the girls too..it can't get much better.

Excellent, good for you!! Sounds like you had a really good time at the event.
It's ironic...our Hooters had their annual show'n'shine yesterday as well. I went for a few hours but left before the awards were handed out.

By any chance, they weren't leaning all over your ride like they did with our old panel a few years back, were they? My two front fenders got more action than I did. Real shame...lol I guess I was too busy trying to put my eyes back in their sockets and rolling my tongue up from the ground to even try anything.
