Pwr steering pmp bkt

Ok, I am catching the dickens finding a bracket I need.
Yes, I realize I can buy one for $100, but I am tying to find a more cost effective alternative.
I am looking for a bracket that will mount an early (74) style power steering pump to the lower driver's side of my SBC.
I don't want to mess with my motor mounts.

Local parts house maybe? Might be the answer seeing how your wanting to keep it simple and not go the $100 billet route.

Yep, I have been looking at that one. I could probably have bought two or three of them for the time and trouble I have gone through already.
This is the only thing I have left to do before cranking up the new engine and putting the wheels on the ground. It is killing me.
I will probably just go ahead and order one today. Of course that means I won't be able to drive it for another week. Oh well, I have waited all winter. Another few days shouldn't kill me.

Alan Grover is good I just put one on my 383, I powder coated it and it looks as good as the billet stuff. BUT it looks just like a stock Chevy bracket. (see the picture on the web) Why not go to the bone yard and get a stock unit, clean it up, polish it and powder coat it for a few bucks?

I went to the junk yard, but I couldn't find any of the old style bracets.
Most of the pre 80's vehicles were gone or the whole engines were missing.
