409 headers

I'm trying to find a set of lakes style headers for a 409 that will be installed in a 34 Ford open-wheeled coupe. I've had TWO sets delivered from Sanderson. I give up. They arrived dented both times due to very poor packing. UPS didn't bash the boxes. The headers were packed wrapped in two sheets of sticky bubble wrap and thrown in the box LOOSE. Not even any styrofoam peanuts. It's no wonder they arrived beat up. Any ideas?

Dougs or S/S headers. Always had quality delivered.

Southern Rods & Parts (Southern Street Rods) in SC I believe, made me a set to fit my panel around the subframe. Want to keep 'em inside the frame rails? If not how about Zoomie style, straight down the side of the body or the dragster style Zoomies (gotta run these open though)?

I'd say check with S/S and Dougs, like Ed says....even Summit might have something. My cousin just got a set of their headers for his El Camino along with their muffler and couldn't be more happy. Sounds mean too!

Hard to believe yours got beat up while being shipped...UPS must have threw 'em all around.
