I mated a 50's MG banjo, with a Toyota truck rim, to a 60's Cadillac tilt/tele, with 11" removed for best fit. Check out my website and look in the 'interior' photo album (be REAL patient if you have a slow connection, there's too many pictures...I'm going to fix that soon):[p]

Basically, I cut the center section out of the Cad wheel and pressed it into the back of the MG center, which is a hollow cast aluminum piece. You cut the CAD spokes until they fit tight into the inner 'race' of the MG (or whatever banjo) hub. Then, I fabricated 3 aluminum pieces to fit over the spokes of the MG wheel. These are slid up the spokes after the MG rim is cut free. I ground the plastic off the Toyota rim where the MG spokes will join, welded the spokes to the Toyota rim, used PC-7 epoxy to rebuild the rim where it joins the spokes, sliding the new end-trim pieces up to the new rim. I then made a cut-out for the tele adjuster lever in the MG plastic horn ring. My wife made me a cast silver Pontiac emblem horn button.
