power rack

Hey Guys,
I have a Mustang rack on my '34 project and Chevy power steering pump brackets (Alan Grove, powder coated). Question: Should I use a Chevy or Ford pump to power the rack? (got Ford but it doesn't fit, yet, can buy Chevy)
I have heard that they get a little squirrely with a Chevy pump because it has a higher pressure output.

I ran a chevy pump on my buick V6 in my 32 Chevy with a Pinto rack, no problems ever.

Best thing I ever did for my 37 was take the power rack off and throw it.
Handled like a sports car with a manual rack.
If I didn't need power on a 37, you sure don't need it on a 34.
Why have all that extra plumbiing if it's not nessesary?
