Looks like we're neck and neck on totals....Mines just as covered, although today the melt down continues. Gonna be a real problem with flooding when this mess is down to water.

Yea, looks familiar. The old lady's Honda was drifted up to the roof! I used this storm as a test. She keeps telling me we don't need a BIG shed. Since we don't have room, we can't get things like snow blowers and tractors. Well, after SHE shoveled out her car, while I shoveled out my truck and the driveway, seems there's enough money in the budget for a nice building out back! I'm measuring and drawing out plans. Is 20 X 40 excessive for a "shed"? hehehe

Make sure that bad boys got a steep pitch to the roof...Stay away from flat and slight angled roof tops. Sunday night or Monday morning ours came crashing down....weight of the snow got the best of the roof and the rest of it went with it. Thank God my ride wasn't in it...more importantly thank God we sold both hot rods we had....that shed was home to 'em from the day we bought 'em all through the build up and we put 'em to bed there many a Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights..
Cleanup of the worst storm in Baltimores history continues....

I tell ya Mike, I'm beginning to think I need to start sending smoke signals out for help if needed....48 today and melting fast, but man is it a mess. City & County plow lots working steady around the clock. Alot of busted hydraulic fittings and hoses and even a few busted windows in the trucks...the City morons are doin 80 down main roads blowing snow all over the place and some sharp hunks of ice busted a few windows out....no injuries though.

Yep lots of wrecks at nite from the refreeze. Lots of roll overs because of the snow piles.. The state bought me a new windshield in my older plow truck about 3 years ago and the young lady driving the plow truck for the state was on shovel patrol a day later fillin pot holes LOL...

Bob i remember some of the winters in your neck of the woods. Used to haul steel and machines out of the windy and Peorie cat plant .Many nites sitin in the old crossroads truck stop wondering if we were ever gonna make it out of there in the winter.Rememeber the snow blowin off the lake up in grandrapids MI one nite i could not even see to drive. We dont normaly get this much in one shot. More coming for monday tuesday. Luck us. More puter time because it kills the old back nowadays.
