I have a set of aluminum finned valve covers.i think they are from the early 60s??I cant use them on the motor im building for my 54 chevy truck.does anyone know if they are worth anything

You didn't say what engine you're building but I'll assume it's a small block chevy. If your valve covers have the staggered bolt pattern like the ones in the picture, they'll only fit '55 thru '58 heads. If they have a straight across bolt pattern they will fit any other year chevy head (except for the newer style center bolt heads).

What are they worth?.....There are a bunch of them for sale on ebay so you can go there to see what they're selling for.
